The solid box-frame construction of this entry-level slate pool table has a solid timber construction and uses no MDF, chipboard or other inferior materials whatsoever. The Opal Square Leg Pool Table also features hardwood rails and the frame has five 7-inch by 1-inch solid timber cross-members that the one-piece slate is screwed into, plus, the pocket protectors are made of hand-stitched leather that wrap around solid, bolted-down chrome brackets.
The one-piece Brazilian slate that meets the international standard of ¾-inch thickness is kept perfectly level with six solid legs that have adjustable feet and are bolted directly into the timber frame. This superior slate is then covered with high-grade English directional cloth that allows for fast, smooth play and excellent spin.
